This Diamond Heart Yoga School 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training takes you on a great journey of exploration into the world of yoga. This training focuses on how to intimately join yogic philosophy and asana practice, planting the seeds to successfully navigate life – on and off the mat. Specifically designed for teachers who have already completed a 200-hour teacher training program, this advanced training helps you dive deeper into existing skills and refine them into a richer and more fulfilling practice and teaching experience.
This training offers a rich palette of teachings for the body, mind, and spirit/self. We study and discuss ancient philosophical concepts from the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and the Ashtavakra Gita. We delve into wisdom teachings from Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan Heart Yoga. Each of these beautiful texts and traditions helps us deepen our understanding of ourselves and how we engage in our world, to become better teachers and human beings. Throughout this 300-hour training, participants will establish a strong foundation in spiritual philosophy and wisdom.
Spiritual and philosophical teachings are joined by asana, pranayama, and meditation study and practice. Familiar asana poses and sequences are expanded upon, as we begin to understand the patterns of prana that are created by various body movements and breathing practices.
We explore pose variations, safe alignment, and pose- and body-specific assisting and adjusting. Alignment is considered holistically, as well as how to sequence to safely get into poses and their more advanced variations, and transitioning between poses. Functional anatomy is highly emphasized, so teachers will leave with a working command of how the body moves. Daily practice-teaching opportunities with ample time for supportive feedback will build confidence and strengthen your teaching skills. Teachers will further leave the training with a greater understanding of meditation techniques and how to facilitate guided meditation.
This training even incorporates elements of acupuncture, herbology, nutrition, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, Tui Na and massage, as well as Hatha, Ashtanga, Anusara and other surprises to make it truly unique!

Offering views of the Caribbean Sea and Tulum National Park, Tulum Wellness Academy is located on a private part of Tulum Beach. It features attractive rooms set in beachside cabins, an outdoor swimming pool and restaurant.
Each room has simple, rustic décor with bamboo and wooden furnishings. Rooms offer sea, pool or jungle views.
Set on the beach, the Beach Club & Smoothie bar serves vegan cuisine.
Tulum National Park is 1 km from Zulum, while the famous Mayan ruins are a 10-minute drive away. The centre of Tulum is less than 5 km from the resort.
